Just as in fashion history, female figures of extreme elegance became iconic models to the point of lending their names to clothing and accessories, embodying all the characteristics that distinguish them, Gessi similarly seeks to showcase its own path by creating an innovative and unprecedented collection—a true high-quality jewel.
Through her personality, Jacqueline embodies the essence of style and lifestyle in a timeless concept that glorifies at the highest level the “savoir-faire” characterizing Gessi’s culture, innovation, and personality, applied to the furniture and interior design industry. The piece itself serves as the central element that encompasses all of Gessi’s cultural values and becomes, within the most intimate living environment, the very expression of the person inhabiting that space—an element of the same personality.

Just as products that have become iconic embody the highest expression of a brand or the personality from which they are inspired, Jacqueline succeeds in becoming the element that can provide the well-being only haute couture creations can offer, as they are designed around the person who uses them. Consequently, it is a beautiful, precious collection with personality, yet at the same time comfortable and natural, allowing the creation of unique and captivating environments, thanks to the choice of using a material found in nature but never before used in bathroom furniture: bamboo.

Gessi, always inspired by nature in its creations, particularly by the infinite forms of water, chose to use the hollow roots of bamboo for the striking Jacqueline collection: the roots are selected one by one, based on diameter and the distance between nodes, to naturally adapt to the production of faucets and furniture accessories, transforming the bathroom and wellness space into an oasis of well-being and harmony.
Each accessory in the Jacqueline collection is handcrafted, and the manufacturing and finishing process involves all the knowledge Gessi has acquired over thirty years of experience: every skill and specialization is applied to each element, transforming Jacqueline into a true jewelry collection.
The Connection Between Gessi and Nature: An Inspiration of Beauty

Always attentive to the suggestions offered by nature, the in-house design studio responsible for creating the Jacqueline collection aimed to select a natural element that, on one hand, would allow for representative forms, and on the other, could be combined and complemented with modular and unique metal elements—the result of the craftsmanship and expertise of Gessi’s master artisans.
Jacqueline is a collection that highlights the finest qualities of products made in Italy—material quality, attention to detail, refined style, innovation, imaginative solutions, and durability—features that position Gessi as an international benchmark. In this way, the company contributes to preserving a part of Italy’s universally recognized cultural heritage. Looking to the future while respecting tradition, this defines Gessi Haute Culture: the recovery, renewal, and experimentation of all the skills and craftsmanship that characterize the Italian way of life, with the aim of protecting this culture, which might otherwise fade, and elevating it to the next level.
The natural forms of bamboo guide the hand of the Gessi artisan: each piece is different from the next, the result of a complex process that allows a natural material to be brought to functional use, not just aesthetic. The final result combines high-level craftsmanship and manufacturing into a unique and exclusive product. Every bamboo element in the Jacqueline collection undergoes a dedicated manual process: from selecting the roots to hot bending, from treatment to make it water-compatible and aesthetically unique, to the technology for inserting the components necessary for water flow to the connecting metals, much like a fashion accessory. The craftsmanship is so innovative and specialized that it constitutes a patented invention by Gessi, unique in the industry, as it strives to always stay one step ahead.

A limited collection of ten finishes complements the refinement of the new Jacqueline concept, in combination with the various bamboo elements, including polished and brushed nickel, polished and brushed black metal, polished and brushed brass, warm-toned polished and brushed bronze, dark bronze, and brushed copper.
The water distribution faucets, shaped with inspiration from the fastening systems of bags and fashion accessories, are available in metal and with leather-effect details.

Bamboo is used in various models: as a low washbasin faucet with a two-height spout, with two or three holes, as floor-mounted, ceiling-mounted, and wall-mounted faucets, while the faucet bases themselves feature innovative designs thanks to their shapes and proportions. Due to the generous thickness of the bamboo roots, they provide soft yet precise lines, such as smooth angles, while the side levers invite a natural, though unconventional, gesture.

This is also an expression of Gessi’s “haute culture,” entering the most intimate living spaces with its new collections. The unique pieces were previewed at Milan Design Week. On this occasion, the company was a key presence with a dual showcase at the Salone del Mobile and the Fuorisalone in its Milan showroom, CASA GESSI MILANO.
